Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before entering Golden Eye Chef 2026. By submitting an entry, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About the Competition
Golden Eye Chef 2026 is an international online cooking competition organized by Antardrishti, Agra, India.
The competition aims to celebrate the cooking skills, creativity, independence, and personal stories of blind and visually impaired individuals from around the world.
2. Competition Period
The competition officially begins on 25 July 2026 and concludes upon completion of the awards and recognition process.
All dates and schedules announced by the organizers are subject to change if necessary.
3. Eligibility
Participation is open to blind and visually impaired individuals worldwide.
Participants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age on or before 25 July 2026.
- Comply with all Competition Rules & Regulations.
- Submit an entry before the official deadline.
The organizers reserve the right to request proof of visual impairment or blindness if required for verification purposes.
4. Entry Fee
There is no entry fee to participate in Golden Eye Chef 2026.
5. Submission of Entries
Participants may submit only one entry.
A valid entry must include:
- Completed Entry Form
- Competition Video
- Any supporting documents requested by the organizers
Incomplete entries may be rejected.
Submission of an entry does not automatically guarantee eligibility for publication, public voting, awards, or recognition.
6. Originality of Content
Participants confirm that:
- The submitted video is their own work.
- The dish has been prepared by the participant.
- The story shared in the video is genuine and personally connected to the participant.
- The submitted content does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
Any form of plagiarism, impersonation, misrepresentation, or fraudulent activity may result in disqualification.
7. Video Content Requirements
All submissions must comply with the official Competition Rules & Regulations.
The organizers reserve the right to reject, remove, or disqualify any submission that:
- Contains offensive, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, unlawful, or inappropriate content.
- Promotes violence, harassment, or illegal activities.
- Violates the spirit and objectives of the competition.
8. Judging and Awards
Entries will be evaluated according to the official judging criteria published by Golden Eye Chef 2026.
All jury decisions are final and binding.
No correspondence regarding judging decisions, scores, rankings, or award outcomes will be entertained.
9. People’s Choice Award
Selected entries may be published for public voting.
The People’s Choice Award is determined independently through public voting and does not influence jury evaluation scores.
Any attempt to manipulate voting through automated systems, fraudulent methods, or unfair practices may result in disqualification from the People’s Choice Award and may affect overall participation status.
10. Use of Submitted Content
By participating in Golden Eye Chef 2026, participants grant Antardrishti and Golden Eye Chef a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to:
- Publish submitted videos.
- Share submitted stories.
- Use photographs, screenshots, and excerpts from submissions.
- Display entries on websites, social media platforms, digital channels, reports, publications, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Use submitted content for educational, awareness, advocacy, documentation, archival, and promotional purposes.
Participants will continue to retain ownership of their original content.
11. Photography, Publicity and Promotion
Participants agree that their name, country, category, submitted dish, photographs, video recordings, and related competition content may be used by Golden Eye Chef and Antardrishti for promotional and communication purposes without additional compensation.
12. Privacy and Personal Information
Personal information submitted during registration will be used solely for purposes related to the administration of the competition and associated communication activities.
The organizers will take reasonable steps to protect participant information and will not intentionally disclose personal information to unrelated third parties except where required by law or necessary for competition administration.
13. Participant Responsibility and Safety
Participants are solely responsible for their own safety during the preparation, cooking, recording, and submission process.
Golden Eye Chef and Antardrishti shall not be responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, equipment failure, internet disruption, or other issues arising from participation in the competition.
Participants are encouraged to follow safe cooking practices at all times.
14. Technical Issues
The organizers shall not be responsible for:
- Internet failures
- Email delivery issues
- File upload problems
- Technical malfunctions
- Device failures
- Data loss
- Delayed submissions caused by circumstances beyond the organizers’ control
Participants are encouraged to submit their entries well before the deadline.
15. Disqualification
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant who:
- Violates the Competition Rules & Regulations.
- Provides false or misleading information.
- Submits fraudulent or manipulated content.
- Attempts to interfere with the judging or voting process.
- Engages in conduct that harms the integrity of the competition.
16. Modification, Suspension or Cancellation
Golden Eye Chef reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, extend, shorten, or cancel the competition, in whole or in part, if circumstances make such action necessary.
The organizers shall not be liable for any losses resulting from such changes.
17. Final Authority
The organizers reserve the right to interpret these Terms & Conditions and resolve any matter not specifically addressed within them.
All decisions made by Golden Eye Chef and Antardrishti regarding eligibility, participation, judging, awards, publication, and administration of the competition shall be final.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India.
Any disputes arising in connection with Golden Eye Chef 2026 shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
19. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an entry to Golden Eye Chef 2026, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, the Competition Rules & Regulations, and all official competition requirements.
