1. Who can participate in Golden Eye Chef 2026?
Golden Eye Chef 2026 is open to blind and visually impaired individuals from any country. Participants must be 18 years of age or older as of 25 July 2026.
2. Is there any entry fee?
No. Participation in Golden Eye Chef 2026 is completely free.
3. What is the theme of Golden Eye Chef 2026?
The theme is:
The Global Table – Many Kitchens, One Family
Participants are invited to prepare a Dish of Togetherness and share the story behind it.
4. What kind of dish can I prepare?
You may prepare any dish that is meaningful to you.
The dish may be traditional, cultural, festive, homemade, comfort food, or your personal specialty.
There are no restrictions on cuisine or cooking style.
5. Can I prepare a dish from my own country or culture?
Yes. In fact, participants are encouraged to share dishes that represent their culture, traditions, family recipes, or personal experiences.
6. How many entries can I submit?
Each participant may submit only one entry.
7. What should be included in my video?
Your video should include:
- A brief introduction about yourself.
- The name of your dish.
- The ingredients you are using.
- The cooking process.
- The story behind the dish.
- The final completed dish.
8. How long can my video be?
The maximum duration is 15 minutes.
Videos exceeding the time limit may not be considered for evaluation.
9. Can I record my video in my own language?
Yes.
Participants may record their videos in any language they are comfortable speaking.
10. Can I edit my video?
No.
Video editing is not permitted.
Participants may pause and resume recording during the cooking process, but adding music, effects, transitions, subtitles, filters, voice-overs, or other post-production enhancements is not allowed.
11. Can someone help me record the video?
Yes.
A family member, friend, or assistant may help with recording the video.
12. Can someone help me cook?
No.
The cooking process should be completed by the participant.
Direct assistance in preparing, cooking, seasoning, plating, or finishing the dish is not permitted.
13. Can I cook in my own kitchen?
Yes.
Participants are expected to record and prepare their dishes in their own home or regular cooking environment.
14. What file format should I use?
MP4 format is recommended whenever possible.
15. How should I name my video file?
Please use:

16. How do I submit my entry?
Complete the Entry Form and submit it along with your video to:
goldeneyechef@antardrishti.org
If your video file is too large for email, you may upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, OneDrive, or another file-sharing platform and send us the download link.
17. What is the last date for submission?
The submission deadline is:
25 August 2026
Entries received after the deadline may not be considered.
18. What happens after I submit my entry?
The Golden Eye Chef team will review your submission to ensure that all required information has been provided and that it complies with the competition guidelines.
Eligible entries will then proceed to the screening and evaluation process.
19. How will the entries be judged?
Entries will be evaluated based on the official judging criteria:
- Cooking Skill & Execution – 35 Marks
- Creativity & Innovation – 25 Marks
- Story Behind the Dish & Personal Connection – 25 Marks
- Theme Connection – Dish of Togetherness – 15 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
20. What is the People’s Choice Award?
The People’s Choice Award is decided through public voting.
This award is separate from the jury evaluation and does not affect jury scores.
21. Will all submitted videos be published online?
Not necessarily.
The organizers reserve the right to review and screen entries before publication or inclusion in public voting.
22. Can I change my entry after submission?
No.
Once an entry has been officially submitted, changes may not be permitted unless specifically requested by the organizers.
23. Can I withdraw my entry?
Yes.
Participants may request withdrawal of their entry by contacting the Golden Eye Chef team before the evaluation process begins.
24. What if I have technical difficulties while submitting?
If you experience any technical difficulties, please contact the Golden Eye Chef team as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist you.
